BDC 'ADVERTISER' This magazine is essential reading for Members who are in the market to either buy a car, or to buy any of the numerous diverse services and products advertised within its many pages. The Advertiser is published every other month, appearing on the 1st of January, March, May, July, September & November, the copy deadline being the 10th of each preceding month. Advert Size, Height, Width, Colour Price, B/W Price FORMAT FOR COPY Please supply one of the following: Digital copy can be supplied by e-mail, on CD or DVD CONDITIONS FOR ADVERTISERS Conditions: Neither the Bentley Drivers Club, nor its staff or agents, can accept responsibility for statements made in advertisements or for errors or omissions arising from unclear copy. Traders (Classified): The "Business Advertisements (disclosure) Order, 1977" requires that all advertisements submitted by people seeking to sell goods in the course of business must make the fact clear. Consumers must be able to tell whether an advertisement relates to a sale by a trader or a private seller. It is therefore, the responsibility of the trader to comply with the Order by marking advertisements copy with the word "Trade" in the bottom right corner, which will then be reproduced in the same position in the advertisement. For full details of advertising for 2010, please contact Club Office. Loose Inserts: By arrangement. Spares For Sale and Wanted by private members of the Club may be included in the Advertiser free of charge. Emergency spares (eg. a car off the road or a rebuild totally halted) maybe be advertised for in THE PREVIEW in those months when there is no Advertiser - also free of charge. We regret that we do not accept Box Numbers; photographs may be included in quarter page plus advertisements, but to ensure good reproduction a sharp black and white print should be submitted. We reserve the right to edit your advertisement. Colour adverts for one quarter page down are subject to full pages being sold. The attention of the Spares Schemes and members in general is drawn to the Club Website which has a section where Members may offer their spares, and wants, free of charge. The Website is also of great advantage for instant daily advertisements, technical answers to Members' queries, etc. Members should also be aware that control is exercised on the content of the Forum on the Website, by means of passwords for secure matters, and monitoring of entries to ensure compliance with normal decency and courtesy.
