Informal event to replace postponed Summer Concours & Party
In view of the UK Government’s announcements in late January regarding the Covid-19 restrictions, and the likelihood that these will continue in some form until the summer and maybe beyond, we have reluctantly decided to POSTPONE this year’s Summer Concours & Party at Cubberley House.
Our much-anticipated visit to Cubberley will now take place on Sunday 19 June 2022.
This year’s postponement is, of course, a great disappointment to us all after so much work has been done to ensure a spectacular weekend, but we have been left with little alternative. Any deposits which Members may have already paid will be refunded in due course.
There IS some good news, however...
The Club has decided to organise a smaller, more relaxed ‘No-Concours Concours’ event – if Government restrictions allow, of course – at the Clubhouse in Wroxton on Sunday 6 June. This will at least give everyone the opportunity to get out in our cars and meet up.
Such an event would, by necessity, be organised on a less formal basis than our usual Concours d’Elegance. And while there will be no actual concours judging of cars, an unofficial Bentley contest may be organised along with some form of entertainment.
Please look out for further announcements and details about this summer’s Wroxton event in due course.
