Former Club Chairman's funeral to take place on 2 November
The BDC can announce that the funeral of former Club Chairman Tony Judd will be held on Tuesday 2 November in Southend on Sea, Essex.
Funeral service
The funeral service will be held at Southend Crematorium, Sutton Road, Southend on Sea, Essex SS2 5PX at 11.20am. The service will last for around 25 minutes.
Post-funeral gathering
A post-funeral gathering will be held at Saxon Hall, Aviation Way, Southend on Sea, Essex SS2 6UN. Tea/coffee and a light buffet will be provided. Saxon Hall is around 15 minutes’ drive from the crematorium and has a large car park to the rear.

Travelling by train
London Liverpool Street line: The nearest rail station to the crematorium is Prittlewell. It will take 15 minutes to walk or five minutes by taxi (AC Taxis – 01702 334455).
London Fenchurch Street line: The nearest rail station to the crematorium is Southend Victoria. It will take 10 minutes by taxi (taxis available from the station taxi rank).
