Competitions Day

Your Competitions team needs you!

If you fancy getting involved in the BDC’s Competitions activities, whether as a new race driver adding fresh blood to the grid or even in a valuable support role as a steward or marshal, then the Club would love to meet you.

Just attend our informal annual Competitions Day gathering on Saturday 26 February at the BDC Clubhouse in Wroxton where you’ll be able to meet and chat with the Club’s existing band of drivers, officials and marshals to find out exactly what’s involved.

You can then take the plunge for the 2022 season…

The day will start with refreshments at 11am when there will be an opportunity to view the current museum exhibition provided by the Bentley Memorial Foundation.

We will open the event with our President, Duncan Wiltshire, outlining our competition plans for 2022 followed by informal discussions and a Q&A session, including relevant updates from the MSUK 2022 Year Book; this will also include clarification on the types of tyre that can be used in the Bentley races, etc.

Following a hot lunch, courtesy of the Club, there will be a presentation of awards to those competitors who have raced with us in 2021 and have not already received their tankards from the BDC Silverstone meeting. We shall also announce our Marshal of the Year who will receive the Stan Terry Memorial Trophy.

Please confirm your attendance ASAP so that we can organise the catering for lunch.
