Calling all convertible owners… fancy attending a recording session of Top Gear in a special drive-in studio?
The popular BBC TV show is inviting BDC Members with a well maintained Bentley convertible (modern, Vintage or anything in between) to the drive-in studio, established after Covid-19 guidelines precluded filming with audiences in the usual indoor set-up.
And if your convertible is deemed by the show’s producers to possess that true wow! factor, you will enjoy watching filming from the comfort of your own car in a special, socially distanced front-row slot – and get on TV too! (NB: there are no audience seating or standing areas). Attendees’ cars MUST feature FM radios in order to tune in and hear the action.
Recording will take place at the aerodrome near Cranleigh in Surrey (GU6 8TB) over three days on Tuesday 8, Wednesday 9 and Thursday 10 September.
BDC numbers are restricted to FIVE tickets per car for each daily recording session – your car can carry one to four people from the same household or social bubble.
