Concours & Summer Party and BDC Silverstone 2021

Here is a brief outline of the latest planned programmes for next summer’s Summer Concours & Party and BDC Silverstone race meeting.

SUMMER CONCOURS & PARTY
Friday 4 to Sunday 6 June 2021
Cubberley House, Ross-on Wye, Hereford HR9 7TE

Three-day event, with the Concours & Party on the Sunday (6th).

Programme
Friday 4th
Hog roast with bar and catch up with friends at Cubberley House (evening). Enjoy the beautiful gardens. Cars can be left overnight (on-site security)

Saturday 5th
Breakfast - bacon baps with tea/coffee. Catch up with friends before enjoying the day's various events
Toms tour - including coffee stop en route to lunch 
Morgan visit - with cake & tea
Withall Estate Vineyard tour/tasting 
Cubberley House garden tours
Dinner - including champagne reception & wine in Cubberley House followed by dinner with wine in marquee. Short speeches (by Club President) and fireworks to round off the evening

Sunday 6th - Concours d'Elegance & Party
Including: Ross of Wye brass band, the Singing Girls, trade stands and local produce/vintage clothing stalls
Plus: hot buffet lunch in marquee (pre-book only) and hampers available
Concours judging will be led by new Head Judge Vivian Bush 
Prize giving in front of the main house

BDC SILVERSTONE
Saturday 7 August 2021
Silverstone Circuit, Towcester NN12 8TN

Eleven races are planned – the biggest programme for several years.

- Bentley Scratch for Groups A and B and Pre-War race
- Bentley Handicap
- Ecurie Classic Racing
- FISCAR (Fifties Sports Racing Club)
- Allcomers Scratch (including Bentley Groups C and D plus TVRCC Challenge)
- BDC Classic Challenge (including Morgan Techniques Trophy)
- Aero Racing Morgan Challenge – 2 races
- MGB GTV8 – 2 races
