| If I may add a little,
WRF 831 indicates that the car was first registered in the County of Staffordshire between December 1951 and March 1952. Since the numerical part is generally allocated sequentially, the date from King’s book is confirmed, the next series of Staffordshire plates commencing at XRE 1 in March ‘52. At that time the Staffordshire indices were RE and RF, the first alphabetical character being again a sequence A, B, C... W, X, etc. King’s book shows only one Bentley agent in the county, namely Attwood’s Garage, on the Lichfield Road in the county town of Stafford. This outfit is now defunct, unfortunately, and its premises have been replaced by a roundabout, which is a shame from one point of view, but greatly hastens my journeys to the shops! Chassis: B 329 NY Eng.: B414N Dlvd.: March 1952 Coachbuilder: Bentley Motors Colour: Bergers Black Body: 5120 First owner: V.G.H.Alcock/Vulcan Pottery Reg.: WRF 831 The most recent recorded owner seems to be with the name Barret in UK in 1967. Hope some of the above might be helpful. Ewan |

| I am hoping somebody can help please. I have a Mark VI, chassis number B329NY. I believe the original registration was WRE831 (which then became 2QFI996 in the USA). I was wondering if someone can provide and more information on this vehicle please? Engine number, dates, etc.? Thank you very much. | |
