Competitions Day 2026: Brian Gush announced as guest speaker

Brian Gush, former Director of Motorsport at Bentley Motors, has been lined up as guest speaker at the annual BDC Competitions Day next month, the Club has announced.

A current Trustee of the WOBMF, Brian (pictured) is sure to provide an entertaining and informative talk at the Clubhouse in Wroxton on Saturday 24 January, just as he did when speaking at Talks Day in 2024.

There will be an outline of the Competition plans for the forthcoming season and an update on changes to the BDC Motorsport Trophy regulations; relevant amendments to the MSUK Yearbook 2026 will also be highlighted. There will also be an informal discussion and Q&A session and an update on Competitions insurance matters from Brian Rivett.

Also on the agenda is the presentation to competitors of class awards from 2025 events, including BDC Silverstone and the BDC Sprint and any awards not handed out at the 2025 Competitions Dinner.

All drivers, officials and marshals are invited to attend. Refreshments will be available from 11am and a hot lunch will be served.
