The Touring Assembly, the traditional curtain raiser to the annual BDC Silverstone race meeting, will once again be held this year - on Friday 8 August.
Starting at the Clubhouse at Wroxton with coffee and bacon butties, participants will be waved off at one-minute intervals.
Long-time organisers Sue Shoosmith and Trina Harley have again put together an excellent route – this time going further west through some stunning Cotswolds villages. Lunch will be held at Broughton Castle, a 14th century moated manor house and the ancestral home of the Fiennes family, where there will be the opportunity for a private tour.
The afternoon run will be a short dash to Silverstone circuit in time for the traditional paddock party, where Touring Assembly participants will enjoy a complimentary hog roast supper in the BRDC clubhouse.
Entry fee: £75 per car (based on two people per car – includes breakfast, coffee, custom printed map and castle tour. Breakfast for additional passengers £8.50 per head). Lunch: £30pp.
Book now! This is a great day out and is limited to 30 cars on a first come, first served basis. If the event is oversubscribed priority will be given to Bentleys.
