Club’s longest serving Member passes away
It is with great sadness that the BDC has to announce the passing of its hitherto longest serving Member, Donald Day. He was 91.
Lt. Commander Day joined the Club in November 1954 and remained a loyal Member for some 71 years.
Donald ran DH Day, a respected and long-established Swindon-based engineering company which manufactured and rebuilt a wide range of components for Vintage Bentleys.
The BDC extends its sincere condolences to Donald’s family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
