IMPORTANT NOTICE
It was planned to hold our Annual General Meeting on
Saturday 17 July (2pm) at Wroxton as a ‘live’ meeting, based on the Government’s earlier guidance that all Covid-19 restrictions were expected to be lifted on or about 21 June.
The Government has now announced that this will be delayed until at least 19 July – and therefore we will be restricted in the total number of Members who can be present at Wroxton to 50 in order to comply with social distancing guidelines.
Alternatively, you will be able to join the Meeting by Zoom.
In
both cases, if you wish to attend, you will need to pre-register before
10 July by emailing info@bdcl.org or telephoning Noel Trewhela at the Club Office on 01295 738886, expressing your preference.
Please note that, in view of the limited capacity, only Members will be able to attend in person this year, regrettably without spouses and partners.
Awards: All outstanding awards, both sporting and non-sporting, will be announced at the Meeting but not presented to the individual winners, again in line with Government guidelines.
In the event that more than 50 Members wish to attend in person, a ballot will be held and Members advised accordingly. Those Members wishing to join by Zoom will be sent an email in the week before the Meeting giving them an access code and a telephone helpline number which will be open an hour before the Meeting.

Catering: Tea, coffee and refreshments will be served but unfortunately no food will be available on the day due to Government restrictions.
