The Touring Assembly, the traditional curtain raiser to the annual BDC Silverstone race meeting, will once again be held on the Friday (11 August).

Meeting at the Clubhouse for breakfast and refreshments from 9.30am, attendees will enjoy bacon rolls & tea/coffee befiore being waved off for the countryside run from 11am (at one-minute intervals). Attendees should park on arrival at Wroxton on the sports field behind the Clubhouse.

Lunch will be taken en route at Holdenby House (pictured) in Northamptonshire; the stop will include a private guided tour of the house before continuing the run to Silverstone circuit in time for the traditional evening party and hog roast.

Entry fee: £60 per car (based on two people per car – includes breakfast, coffee and custom-printed map. Breakfast for additional passengers: £7.50 per head)

Lunch at Holdenby House: £30 per head (includes entry to hall and guided tour)

Entries limited to 30 cars on a first come, first served basis (if the event is oversubscribed priority will be given to Bentleys).

Friday evening hog roast & party
All Members, along with BDC Silverstone competitors, marshals and officials, are warmly invited to the Club’s traditional Friday evening hog-roast party (from 7pm).

This year it will be held in the renowned BRDC Clubhouse. The bar will be open to purchase drinks.

Turn up and mingle to kick off race day in style.
