Competitions Dinner - exciting update

We are delighted to announce that Bentley Motors will be adding its support to next week’s second annual Competitions Dinner, to be held at the Royal Automobile Club in London, by participating in a special Q&A session.
 
Two senior members of the team closely involved in developing the new Blower Continuation Series cars and operating the associated racing programme (which began this season) will be joining the evening, on Wednesday 29 November, as special guests.
 
David Argent, Technical Manager of Mulliner & Motorsport, and Ben Linde, Special Projects Leader of the Classic Continuation Series, will be on hand to reveal a fascinating insight into the Blower project during a special Q&A session.
 
They will discuss the challenges of bringing a pre-war car ‘back to life’ in a modern OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) environment together with their experiences and impressions of the Blower and Speed Six Continuation Series built so far. David and Ben will also speak about their experiences in motorsport with Bentley.
 
Also helping what should be a hugely enjoyable and memorable evening go with a swing will be a very special car which the Royal Automobile Club has kindly allowed the BDC to grace its famous Rotunda (pictured, for illustrative purposes).
 
The presentation of the Club’s major Competitions awards will also take place at the dinner to be held in the Mountbatten Room from 7pm.
