Bernard Walker joins the BDC Main Board
The BDC is pleased to formally announce the appointment of Bernard Walker as the Club’s new Hon Treasurer/Finance Director.
Bernard, a member of the Club’s North-West Region, succeeds Sean O’Connell who retired from his role after almost seven years’ service at last year’s AGM.
Careerwise, Bernard worked as a financial computer consultant and since retiring full-time now works part-time for the NHS in dental administration.
Together with Jeremy Marshall Roberts, the East Midlands Chairman, he served on the organising team for last year’s Derby 90th anniversary celebrations.
On the Bentley front, Bernard owns a 1936 Derby 4¼ Thrupp & Maberly and a 1962 S2 Continental Mulliner Flying Spur.
Bernard looks forward to meeting Members at the Club AGM at the Clubhouse on Sunday 21 April.
