1954 R-Type B 142 WG (automatic gearbox)
I am searching for a plug to put on my battery charger so that I can trickle-charge via the dashboard socket, if necessary, during the winter.
(Bench seat difficult to remove for battery access in my narrow garage.)
Don't want to stick bare wires in the socket holes and fix with matchsticks!
Plug is same for some R.R. models and maybe some other Bentleys ?
Flying Spares part no. is RD4333 (no stock) to fit socket RD7056.
Any helpful ideas as to where to find a plug would be most appreciated. |

James
thanks for your helpful suggestion, but I think the one you found on E-Bay is another version with 2 x same diameter pins, whereas the one I want has pins of different diameters set 0.5" between centres.
I found a company that does the former (= p.n. 379 at Vintage Motor Spares / Tim Hodgekiss.)
thanks again and regards, Paul |
