I am thinking of fitting electronic ignition to my 1961 Bentley S2 standard steel body, because of problems with the Distributor cap an timing etc etc. Could someone please suggest both the best type/option of electronic ignition to get and also where best to get it from.
Thanks in anticipation

Powersparks, per Simonsparks at £54.95 from ebay is a good as any, and forms the basis of the "other" parts houses offerings at 4 times the price.
You may have to close the gap between the induction rotor and the module, to induce the trigger.
However, a well set up Delco Remy original is as good. |

I agree with Chris.
I fitted Powerspark to my 59 S1 and noticed an immediate improvement in smoothness, not that it was rough before. |

Chris, Do you know of, or can you advise of, a garage/business who is really familiar with working on or specialises in 'spanering' S2 Bentley (engines) - in Yorkshire, preferably west Yorks, but South yorks also Ok.
