1. I found some December 2008 exchanges on this forum between the late Laurie Fox and others about fibreglass replacement front wings.
It appears that they were supplied by " Adams and Oliver," but I can't find out who or where this company is (or was ?)
Can anyone enlighten me and does anyone know where a pair of these wings might still be available ?
2. I just purchased a new sidelight, etc. (RD 4587P) from F.S. but cannot find a source for the bits needed to fit my RD 4535 (chrome moulding above side lamp,) to the nacelle and lamp unit, ie.
RD 6575 front screw
RD 6576 rear screw
RD 4536 tapping strip (?) for rear screw.
Any advice from MK VI / R-Type owners would be much appreciated.
Thanks and regards

Adams and Oliver, long since deceased, operated a successful business in Warboys, not far from Cambridge, they also had a huge, general scrap yard in Great Gidding, and I helped them wind the business down during 1974-1979.
Several firms made the wings and other panels. and they do occasionally come onto the eBay, and in the RREC Advertiser.
Try Introcar for your bits,or Gary Bretherton on 07721 622076, but your may have to find modern substitutes. |

Christopher
thanks for the information and advice ; I managed to sort out some ad hoc bits from an engineering supplier.
Still interested to hear from anyone who may have heard about any of these fibreglass wings for sale, eg. in Laurie's post he mentioned that a pub landlord in Wales had a pair for sale many years ago ! |

Morning Paul,
I do not have a pair of fibreglass glass wings but do have a pair of new old stock steel wings from Crewe, if of any interest.
Regards

Paul
Thanks for offering the Crewe steel wings that you have.
Since I originally did this post, I have discovered that fibreglass front wings and sills were already fitted on my car!
There were some paint blisters, etc. and I had assumed this was steel starting to corrode, but thankfully this turned out not to be so.
The wings are off the car now and being restored.
Kind regards
