I have received the following email. Feel free to take part if you wish.

My name is Elliott, I am an International Marketing Management MSc student from Leeds University. I am getting in touch as I am currently working on a project in collaboration with a company that are seeking to develop a new means of training luxury car salespeople.

As part of this research I have designed a questionnaire to assess current perceptions of luxury automotive retail. Thus I am enquiring as to whether you could help further this project by passing the questionnaire on to your members, perhaps by posting it in your forums?

This is a chance for your members to have input into the future retail practices of Bentley and other luxury brands. You are also more than welcome to access our findings; simply contact me by email at bn16egb@leeds.ac.uk

My antivirus went loopy when I clicked on the mailto: link above and killed my offline email reader. I have emailed Paul about it.

Meanwhile, I strongly advise caution. Whilst it may well be entirely coincidental, one cannot be too careful.

As I put the email address in as text (the forum software added the link), I think this is just coincidence. I have tried both the web address and mailto without a problem. But if you feel there is a threat, don't follow the links! If anyone else gets a report from anti-virus software, let me know and I will delete this topic.
