Hello everyone.
I have just bought B160FB. It has “woven” brake linings fitted and they “groan” terribly. Will moulded linings fix the problem and what are the drums made of? |

Possibly, but if it only occurs at low speeds, maybe it is partly to do with the servo.
Rear brake as you can see with the auxiliary hand brake shoe and bonded linings. Partially assembled
As you may see the drums are in two parts bolted together by a ring of tiny bolts, the central flat section is steel and bolted to the hub,and the finned main part is cast iron.
