My car is always garaged at night. What drains the battery the most, locking using the remote key or not locking with the remote key? I hope there is someone with tech expertise that can give me an answer!

This site suggests leaving the doors unlocked can drain the battery more than locked: https://www.tonywhitegroup.com.au/how-prevent-your-car-battery-draining

PS, the forum is still not as easy to use as it used to be. It told me my reply above had not worked, but it had.

Personally I think the clubs site does not give value for money! Very little tech advice, it takes as many as 8 clicks to get to the Forum.
I own a Jag XKR and belong the Jaguar club of GB and it only takes 2 clicks to enter the Forum and post a question. And Membership is only £50 ! Questions are answered with expertise within an hour. This is my first Bentley and I love it but in no way will I resubscribe to the Bentley club

Not sure what model of car you are referring to.
My 96 Brooklands has been suffering battery drain, I leave it unlocked with electrics off. But will drain in a couple of weeks.
Had expert run test and finally came up with the alarm itself. Has top roll off to identify this. Told no longer repairable and replacement over £750 plus new key fobs. He suggest a more modern alarm, same manufacturer, can be fitted to replace original at much more economical figure, just waiting for confirmation of price. He has done this before, I like it when these guys experiment on someone else's car, a couple of months ago so confident this will work and cure problem.
