The Club recommends Lockton and RH.
Do members also recommend them?
Any other suggestions? |

I use RH for my 3ltr, I have found them to be efficient, competitive on price and the one time I required their brake down service (in a remote part of France) their service was nothing short of amazing. |

Thanks for these replies.
RH have given a significantly lower quote than Lockton, but both include a strange exclusion limiting theft and damage cover if the car is not garaged between 10pm and 6am. I am trying to get clarification. |

Just discovered this only applies if the car is within quarter of a mile of my garage, and not parked in it.
Seems odd to me. |

The idea is to allow you to go off touring and not be garaged overnight, but when ‘at home’ you should not be lazy, put it in the garage. I can see the logic😀 |

I would not recommend them. My current insurer Classic Line are 35% cheaper for a like for like insurance. |

Classic Line are part of Footman James, they were at some point used by members of the VSCC, but received a certain amount of poor publicity, I suspect this was due to premium levels on prewar cars. No doubt it was a market that was no longer of interest. However things change and I’m sure that they are competitive on the more modern cars. |
