|
|
Hi,
I Have a 2014 GT V8s and the boot will no longer open under it's own steam. My garage has singled out the motor unit but it appears they are no longer manufactured. Equally Bentley don't have any.
I'd rather not fit a second hand unit, so I wondered if anyone is aware of a company that rebuilds the motors?
Many thanks

This does not address the op's question, but boot lid motors are a weakness on early generation 2 cars. I had one replaced whist under guarantee. Later cars are fitted with two motors, one on either side.
Surprised to hear they are no longer available. |

David
My answer does address the op's question ( whatever an op is? ). He asked where he could get a motor rebuilt and that is what I answered! |

The op is original poster, and not for a moment was i suggesting you had not answered the question.
In saying "this does not etc" I was simply acknowledging my posting did not.
Hope this helps! |

Maybe not, Martin. David's response was ambiguous and on re-reading it I can understand what he meant. |

It was only light hearted banter Nicholas but if you are offended by that I apologise. |
