Hi we purchased our Arnage Back in 2017, it had a modest mileage of about 52k then. But the steering always seemed very stiff, know matter what the rev range. We had the steering speed sensor replace by HR Owen on its 55k service but still the same, mechanics isn't my bag, i do bodywork and crash repair for a living. I've had about 6 shadows up to this point and i remember their steering to be very light. Any suggestions please? The hotter it gets the worst it becomes. Thanks in advance for any reply's. DT

Steering rack or hydraulic power problems. Bentley quote about £5k for a new rack.

I had exactly the same issue, and then the hydraulics failed due to faulty/split/worn pipes. Arnage 2000, red label.

I was on the m6 and after a couple of weeks of the steering slowly getting stiffer, the hydroylic dumped on the M6 in about 10miles.

Maybe the Arnage was a bit upset as we'd just visited the Morgs factory for a tour Laughing

Honestly not the most pleasant experience. If anyone is caught out. If the hydroylics message appears on the dash, pull over ASAP. I didn't, almost impossible to move the steering once the hydraulic pressure disappears!
