Very nice. If it really is a matching numbers original bodied car then it will be one of the few vintage Bentleys which will be eligible to be registered as a historic vehicle post Roadworthiness Directive 2018 (and, unbelievably, the FIVA which claims to represent the classic car movement, seems to be in favour of this nonsense. Don't get me started), and hence allowed into European cities, inter alia.
We've got used to seeing higher asking prices than that. The auction houses report, in an only slightly roundabout way, that the market is now on the downward part of the cycle;

(Editted with thanks to John for pointing me at tinyurl. It actually seems to work. Whatever next?)

Use "tinyurl" Stephen. Just copy the long thing into the box, and it will return a shorter descriptor, which then can be used as a substitute.
Even I can do it! |

Thanks for that, John. That's the second thing I've learned here today. The other is the word abstruse which I shall now use whenever possible until I forget it, which probably won't take long. |
