Not the most topical subject but can anyone recommend a set up and make?
I have been told not to drill the radiator side flange but mounting off the front of the engine looks difficult.
I have the wiring in place.
Thank you and happy B motoring in 2017 |

I have a 10 inch Kenlowe mounted on a bracket off the top of the cross shaft housing. It draws about 5.6 amps.
A friend's car has two smaller Kenlowe fans mounted directly on the radiator core using rubber plugs that fit through the honeycomb.
Kenlowe have a comprehensive web site.

Last year (Happy New Year everyone!), my engine was fitted with a 4.5 block, but retained its existing 3ltr phoenix crank. At the same time I had a new radiator core with a slightly larger header tank.
I still have the same small fan, so far it has coped fine in city driving and a fast (85mph cruise) 700mile trip back from Nice in September had the water temp at a steady 80°. An earlier spirited drive over the Alps was similarly trouble free. |
