Hello...
Does anybody happen to know the accurate weight of a bare 4.5 block?
I can't subject my bathroom scales to that lot....
Thanks, in anticipation. |

Vintage or post war?
The former doesn't weigh much at all. I've happily lifted one into the boot of my car. I'd say less than half the weight of a person.
The latter is a two-person lift. |

Hello,
It's vintage.
Would you reckon 35 kilo/75 pound sound about right? |

I've got one in my garage which sadly I am not near at the moment. I carried it from the car to its current resting place and don't remember that being particulaly difficult. I'd be surprised if it's more than 40 Kg. It's going to be while before I can put it on the scales. Hopefully someone else has one to hand. |
