Many years ago I removed the Windovers body from my 4 1/4 placing it on saw horses... body off restoration. It is now back on the chassis, but at least one problem has occured, namely that the rear of the body has spread so that the boot lid will no longer properly fit into the body via the mounts at the base. The opening at the bottom is now close to an inch too wide. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how to return the body and its ash frame back to its original dimensions? |

Not to any degree. The body has been stored on two saw horses in non-heated garage in the San Joaquin Valley of Central California. In the Winter it is cool -2C at the low with some fog hanging in after rain and in the Summer it is hot 40C plus during the afternoon. |

Do you have photographs of the interior of the boot as well as out? |

Thanks for your willingness to provide some insight. My wife and I are currently on holiday in New Zealand. I will take and post some photos after we return in mid-November. |
