Built by "Hooper Coachbuilders" at the Metrocab factory when part of Manganese Bronze, Clabdon Works, NW6. The owner Colin Hyams intended the name to be La Rochelle until he caught his wife taking a hammer to the first unfinished car.
The business and the rest of the concern folded in 2000-2001.
The original cost was £350,000 including the Bentley Turbo R as a donor vehicle.
One sold recently for just under £38,000.
A bit of a FerrariFarinaFacel mish mash and really brutal (abitlikethegorgeousArnage). It looks like they could,nt afford a spray booth, and notice how the door has been extended.
(I have ordered a new Tiguan in silver paint) |
