Now that we no longer have to display a current Tax Disc, in the UK, I thought it would look good to have a replica of the car's first Tax Disc, as issued in 1928.
On the Interweb I found "Creative Tax Discs" who created a brilliant contemporary disc, personalised to my 4.5L, which I received by return of post. It will be on the car tomorrow in a contemporary style disc holder. My first car was a 1934 Morris 10/4 and that cost £12-10-0 pa to tax, the Bentley cost £20-00-00 to tax in 1928, and my new 1928 disc has cost the princely sum of £11.99.
I regret that I drove the Morris like a hooligan and it finished up as scrap - I would love to have it now!

I'm very impressed, but the last time I was involved with a "made up" tax disc the Defendant got a 6 months' suspended sentence for fraud. He had one on the car he tried to sell, and 40 more were found in his house. |

Robert - I’d bet that those were’t out of date!
