It occurs to me that after about 60,000 miles or so on my current friction shock absorbers, I have never adjusted them or dismantled and cleaned them.
They still seem to hold when jacking up the chassis, as they did when I first set them up, surely wear must take place!
What do you clever people do, should I dismantle, clean, oil, and put back? Or leave well alone and go to the pub. |
