The ex Peter Morley/John Cobbing 8 Litre Bentley goes through Sothebys auction today without reserve;

I know it was pretty short when Peter raced it but 30" wheelbase?
Since John sold it, the poor thing seems to have been perpetually for sale. It's doing a suitably grand tour of auction houses. Having allegedly sold at Bonham's Monaco, it is now at Sotheby's Monterey, California. Where next, I wonder? |
