I have recently purchased a 1989 Turbo R and am overhauling the front brakes with new discs and caliper seals.
I was taught..many years ago...that caliper seals were tapered in cross section to aid the return of the pistons and the old seals fitted to the car are tapered as I expected. The new seals are not tapered and are square in cross section..having spoken to flying spares and the factory they are not able to provide any information if the new seals going to be correct.
I obviously do not want to refit all the seals only to find a problem later on.
Has anyone fitted these recently and come across the same issue.
