Does any one have a copy of BDC Review Nr 50? I am trying to find a photo of B178DG when it had a utility body. Would really appreciate a scan of it if at all possible. Thanks Sue Real Car Co |

Vincents Utility bodies were exactly like this one, even on the Rolls-Royce.
None of the history books mention them.

I would think that the club librarian or archivist could help.
If not the VSCC probably has a full run of bulletins in its library. |

Sue,
Is the chassis number correct as B178DG was turned into a P111 12 cylinder special by Bob Burrell?
The history on your site ties in with B192DG the other car, but there is no mention of a Vincent body except the L F Morris tourer body presumably fitted as shown.
There is a reference to the Flying Lady (RROC) p,3596.
B192DG was built with a Park Ward saloon body.
The only record of a Vincent utility rebody is on B142JD as shown above
Another Bob Burrell, so powerful that the back end spins round when the clutch is let in. It is a private collection, but the E Type Jaguar all synchro gearbox became very badly damaged.

Thanks all,
Photo of utility body acquired and also more info has surfaced. The original body of B178DG is currently on B17AE.
