Does anyone have experience regarding the various Infotainment upgrades available for early Continental GTs?
They seem to cost £2-4000 and imply a significant improvement over the early equipment - especially satnav. |

Mine has the Ben Hur replacement panel which allows a choice of double din units to be fitted.
I have a Kenwood DNX8180DABS which has Garmin Sat Nav, Apple Play, Android Auto, WAZE, USB, DVD, CD, SD Card slot.
You can also add front and rear cameras, for parking and as a dash cam.
It still works with the built in DSP but you have to leave those settings in default on the head unit. The steering wheel controls still work as well. |

Thanks for that information. Could you say how much it cost and where it was done please? The brightness of my screen is awful during the day but OK at night! |

Hi All
An answer to my own question.
Audio Concepts in Cardiff (029 2070 7275) will do the Ben Hur option with Kenwood 9180 - or similar - for £2500 +VAT.
Reversing camera £250 + VAT
Dashcam £250+ VAT
If you drop your car off in the morning it will be completed in 4-5 hours so you could go and explore Cardiff!
They have done over 160 Bentleys so will not spoil your pride and joy and the infotainment package will be right up to date, What a great deal! Mine will be done this year (don't tell the wife!!). |
