Hello all, I haven’t been anywhere, it’s just that I managed to lose all my password stuff transferring to a new iPad, and have only just got round to sorting it.
If anyone wants to say hello back, or even “Oh good grief not him again!” please feel free.
Cheers

Thanks John.
What’s an iPad?
It’s a cross between a Bentley and a woman.
It’s expensive to get one, nobody tells you how it works, and if you touch it in the wrong place you get in deep trouble.

I'd rather keep my wife and forget the iPad. In fact, it was my wife who suggested I buy the WO. |

With both wife and iPad, that's why I can't afford a W.O! |

Oh lord not him again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Welcome back John. Have you not heard of ICloud.
I think you just wanted an excuse to be able to set down on your own without interruption. |

Thank you for your welcome back.
I’m afraid it really was just inertia on my part. Like many other people, I have made an inroad into gardening this year, by way of a small octagonal cedar wood greenhouse and some small raised beds, plus one or two other things and the time seems to have passed at an alarming rate.
Next year, hopefully, I will avoid some basic errors that I made, but I have at least had some tomatoes that tasted of something.
Cheers John |

I only planted two tomato plants this year (tiny garden and glut last year), the Gardeners Delight was very nice and tasty, Money Maker was very disappointing in terms of flavour and texture. Much to my surprise the Sungold orange cherry tomatoes from last year self seeded and I am getting lots of tasty sweet cherry tomatoes, highly recommended. |

I used up the excess of tomatoes by making soup, it tastes a lot better than tomato cup soups, and is no effort if you use a pressure cooker and a decent blender. As an experiment I tried a small bed of beetroot, it was very rewarding in terms of taste, but not quantity.
