Is it safe to drive a car with bare metal pedals? The rubber is there for a reason.

Just for you Nicholas, the Bentley Continental GT Brake Pedal, really "butch".

Thanks, Chris. This looks to be a really naff design, to appeal to boy racers who are old enough to know better. Give me a proper pedal any day.

Thanks, John. I fitted a pair of those onto my Continental GT for when it breaks down. Don't need them on the other Bentleys because they were built before 1970, so don't break down.

However, we aren’t really answering Joel’s question.

Unfortunately my Bentley has four pedals, so I am stumped.

(From the right, accelerator, brake, clutch, chassis lubricator.)

Mine have 2,4 and 3 in reverse chronological order. Looking forward to getting them out again once things warm up and we get our jabs.
