After some searching I managed to buy a Harold Radford R Type Countryman. A few issues that fellow owners might be able to assist me with. Problem is a lot of the vehicle is standard but quite a lot is bespoke. My particular car came to me without the small tools & tray that sit's below the drivers seat. The hearsay is that it was stolen or removed from the car whilst in the care of a dealer of repute who wears a Straw Boater ! who refused to replace or recompense the cars owner. I can't of course substantiate the claim & apologise unreserverdly to any dealers out there who wear Straw Boaters if untrue. However the small tools are common R Type but the tray is bespoke. If any of the other Radford R Type owners out there can assist with photo's & dimensions or even better lend me one to copy with the usual comprehensive safeguards, it would be be exceedingly appreciated. Also has anyone any photograph's/lists of the interior fittings & accessories of which there was a lot of choice, it would be most appreciated. There are a few jobs still to do but I will let you know how I get on. Kindest Regards, Keep Safe both motoring & Covid. Rod |

Hello Rod
I may be able to help - I also have an R Type Countryman and am not at all far from you - in Chester. My tool tray is in place (a few tools missing) and you are very welcome to examine it. I will take some photos and post on here in a couple of days. |
