I had a blown fuse on my Mk vi. I bought some wire. After fixing the fuse, I have something over half a mile of wire remaining. Since I lack the patience to deal with an electrical problem so vexing and persistent as to use all of that, I am happy to share.

The mk vi workshop manual specifies swg 38 tinned copper wire which has a diameter of 0.006" and a fusing current of 5 amps. I have awg 34 with a diameter of 0.0063" and a fusing current of 5.1 amps. If that is close enough for you and you need some, pm or email me with your details and I'll send you some, gratis.
