A strange one. When I turn the heater fan on there is a ticking sound, one speed even if the fan speed is incresed. The ticking also kicks in when engaging reverse and when the engine is turned off (for approx 10 seconds), both of these even though the heater fan isn't on.
Has anyone any ideas what it might be?

| I took the car into Bentley Cambridge and they diagnosed the fault as the heating and ventilation air condtioning flaps. They replaced two faulty motors. Now fine. |
