I have key fob with enamelled winged B badge which looks vintage, to me, given over 50 years ago by Lt Col T O'Driscoll Lumley when I bought his Mk VI (or later his R-type), 1968 or 1972. He used to race before the war and he told me his son raced a 6 1/2 litre, but sadly had since died. This was the key fob and keys to the 6 1/2. The keys are both Union - Wilmot Breedon numbered FX46 and FX615. The leather is certainly old and the unfaded colour under the fob is a rich reddish-brown. He also offerd me a spare wheel which I refused as I had no use for it...
Can any one identify the car these keys belong to, ie was it a 6 1/2? does it still exist? and is this fob the vintage key fob badge? Clearing out 50+ years of "stuff" and re-found this in back of drawer. Would prefer to go to rightful owner or sell if anyone interested.
OK, again system beaten me, how do I load more than one image??? nothing =more accepted whn "Upload picture"

If you don’t have any success here with an answer, I would think that the club could tell you if he was ever a member (seems likely if he raced the car) and which car he owned when he joined. |

Col Driscol-Lumley owned a 6.5 reg. UE6835. Circa 1963
It was owned by a club member in 2015. |
