Sorry, no, but first things first, are the back springs, the dampers and the whole of the front suspension up to snuff? They are usually the last bits that get looked at in rebuilds, and the spit and hope chassis lubrication system has usually run out of puff before the oil gets to the back to lubricate the spring leaves inside their gaiters, and the shackle pins, let alone the “adjustable” rear damper system which has problems all of its own.
Sorry if I’m preaching to the converted! |

Thanks for the reply John. I agree that all you listed are potential problems. I recently cured some of my long term handling by straightening the front roll bar which had a twist in it, (no heat was involved in the process). I don't know why it was twisted, may be an accident. I think Introcar are just trying to flog this kit by sending all the people on their books an email to tempt them, but I may be wrong it might work a treat. |

It was back in the late 70's/early 80's that I drove a car with a Harvey Bailey handling kit fitted (is that the same as the introcar offering?), I recall quite an improvement in body roll and general handling. |

Club member James O'Neil fitted the Harvey Bailey kits, front and rear, to his MKVI and was very pleased with the result.
He's a good sort and I'm sure he would be happy to discuss the kits with you.
You can find his contact details in the online members directory. I strongly suggest you don't use the club's pm system as, for reasons which aren't clear, it can take several months for the message to arrive. I suppose they would argue that's better than it not arriving at all?
As has been stated, we don't yet know if the Introcar kits are the same as the H-B ones. |

I didn't know that Harvey Bailey kits were made for MKvi and had assumed that they were for T1 onwards. Anyway will make contact with James O'Neil and get his thoughts. |
