Hello All. My CRB has started making awful noise. I live in Denver, CO, USA and have a good shop available with capable techs but guidance is welcome. Willing to take all advise on how to proceed. Follow tech. manual to the letter ? |

Hi,
There is a chassis number plate mounted on the bulkhead, ie firewall. It is also stamped on the side of the frame below the bonnet on the drivers side.
The engine number is stamped near the water pump, also on the drivers side.
If I am correct, the engine number of your car is J7BW,and the car is a Park Ward dhc. Former owner a Mr Cook.
Now a sedanca coupe ,shown in Bentley Beauty, painted teal and cream
The nitty gritty is that your car has the second type of clutch, know as the "light clutch".
In the next post, I will send a picture to show you what you are up against.
You should follow the instructions in TSD2224 BM / F2.
Removing the front seats and the floorboards will help. |
