Anyone know where I can find Bentley branded "Smiths" gauges for my 53 R Special? Or perhaps Jaeger |

The description is completely inaccurate regarding the manufacturing date and the instrument looks as though it has spent a large part of its life in a very damp environment. Why not try someone like Flying Spares who dismantle R types. |

Caerbont Automotive Instruments in Wales took over the Smiths brand and do a full range of period instruments.
They made a nice electronic Rev counter, matching the speedo, for my 1954 R-Type.
Don’t have their website address but just look them up.
Good luck. |

This is it. I specified the 4,000 rpm red line myself. It should really be 4,250 but I rarely exceed 3,000 anyway! |
