The flexible conduit taking cable to the rubber helmet stop / tail light on my car has reached the end of its life. No longer flexible, it has broken in two or three places near the fitting and no longer acts as an earth. I've run a separate earth so the lamp works, but want to replace the conduit.
Conduit is readily available but I can't find suitable fittings to replicate the end piece which holds the conduit, and plugs into the double sided fitting which serves as the bulb holder.
Vintage Supplies offer plugs and end piece but not an end piece which serves as a plug to go in the bottom end of the double sided bulb holder.
Anyone any idea who might supply what I need? |

Thanks John
I have tried Vintage Supplies (same people) but whilst they offer plugs for the two sided bulb holders, and ends for the conduit, they don't seem to offer a combined end/ plug, which is what I have at the moment and suits the bulb holder. Sadly the existing fitting is not recoverable as the end of the conduit is broken off inside and rusted in.
I can always find a way of fitting an alternative bulb holder, which is what I expect I will end up doing. |
