The Club is delighted to announce that one of its major attractions at this year’s Summer Concours & Party weekend at Cubberley House (Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 June) will be TWO spectacular Spitfire fly-pasts.
A fly-past will be held each day (Saturday at 1.14pm and Sunday at 11.42am), with the emotive sight and sound of the iconic World War II aircraft filling the skies above Ross-on-Wye.
The Supermarine Spitfire – which played a vital role in defeating Luftwaffe air attacks in 1940 – will be appearing as part of its summer series of Battle of Britain Memorial Flights (BBMF), and the Club is indebted to the RAF Air Events Team for enabling the two fly-pasts to take place.
Look out for them…
