1935 3.5L Park Ward
In the technical manual I see that the car should have a Dunlop 29 Jack.
I had a screw jack under the bonnet but as it was not secure in its cage I have taken it out. Does anyone have a correct jack they would part with?
I am also interested in which bits are clipped where under the bonnet, the starting handle and shaft are fairly obvious but then there are other brackets across the bulkhead above the regulator. Is there an earlier thread relating to this ? |

Steve,
You will note that the Dunlop No 29 is specific for the 4 1/4 litre cars, the one for the 3 1/2 litre cars as mentioned on p1 is not numbered except for the R-R part number, and is as shown in this picture.

Christopher many thanks, I had missed that detail.
Is the Jack for the 3 1/2 Litre made by Dunlop?
How might I identify one of these?
Do you know what might have clipped onto the bulkhead above the regulator? |

Steve,
The starting handle is in two pieces, and the shaft is clipped into a steel holder bolted to the bulkhead.
The jack is by Dunlop, and both types are seen on p 50 of Bernard's book, also showing the handle shaft clipped on.
Note the No 29 on the 4 1/4 litre car. |
