I have a 1991 Continental R and need to remove the rear seats. I have removed the nut in the centre at the front of the seat squab and can find nothing else holding it in place. How do I remove the seat squab? Is it simply a question of pulling until it comes out?

OK. Problem solved! Not the most intuitive of jobs but I got there in the end. Both squabs have to come out together and then you have to lift from the bar running across the back to lift the seat over the seat belt mounts.

Thanks Andrew,

I needed to fix the housing of my rear seat belt sockets (identified as an advisory on the last MOT) and just could not find how to get the squab out to access them.

Albeit from March, your post has helped me a lot. Now fixed.

Shows the value of this BB.

Thanks,

Alan
