I would say the hinge side but, Bob, I know you, you ace stirrer. Just as well I didn't call it a Union Jack! Very Happy

I have always been told that the hoist is assumed to be on left if there is not one there. That is why my daughter, who was an international athlete, gets upset when people who win events put the flag behind their shoulders the wrong way round from the point of view of people looking from the front.
