Any ideas on a source for a drain plug for a 3 litre tank- neither of the two obvious places have any! They are 7/8"bsp flanged plug -also the washer.

7/8 BSP seems a very uncommon size. Are you sure that's correct? As you've probably already found out a Google search doesn't come up with any such plugs. Is Donald Day one of the places you've tried?
Perhaps you'll have to make one or have one made. |

It might be worthwhile trying VBE, they make complete fuel tanks (amongst other things). There is a drain plug listed under tools.

Or Stanley Mann - who have replaced many a tank with something much larger, so might have an old one somewhere.
