Forgive me - IO know this has been covered before but could not find it on searching.
What is the usual oil pressure at idle, when hot? My car idles well at about 450/500 rpm.

I think it will depend on what oil pump you have, how much wear and what the temperature is.
On the very worn out 4.5 I used to own, idle pressure was about 3psi, but it seemed to have lots of flow.
On my current car, when really hot, idle pressure is about 18psi, (cold c.35)

On my 4.5L - cold I've adjusted to 40psi and hot running drops to about 37psi, idle about 15 - 18psi.
